Happy new year! Cheers to 2019 and the ups and downs and the things we learned. I always reflect a bit on the last year but I’m trying to be more focused and positive on what’s to come. A new year, new possibilities and new things to learn.

My favorite project every year are my watercolor calendars. I work on them throughout the year and they seem to resonate with people. They’re simple, sweet cards each with a watercolor image I paint to represent each month. I added a quote that seemed appropriate for each month. They’re fun to do. And challenging.

I keep two on display. One hanging in a clip frame by our back door and one in a 5×7” frame on my desk. They make me smile knowing that I worked hard on them, but also because they’re a little piece of art I get to see each month.

I gave them as presents for Christmas. And I sent them to each of my besties last year because, even though we don’t see each other a lot, I thought we could all look at the same thing each day.

They’re for sale in my Etsy shop and I’m offering a 20% new year’s discount this month. Grab one for yourself – or send one to your bestie, mom, coworker, neighbor. A unique way to look at 2020. Add them to a standard frame or purchase one of my handmade wood clip frames to hang on the wall.
