First, I have to clarify that I am not a fabulous cook! I might have said this before but I figured it was worth another mention since I am giving you four of our favorite recipes. But these are all simple recipes that you really can’t go wrong with {and my cooking has gotten better over the years}. If you didn’t see my March 3rd post, I included a monthly dinner menu planner {freebie} that has really helped me plan my meals each month. In addition to helping me, it has made my kids feel like they are in the know. They seem to check the schedule periodically to see what to expect come dinnertime. But on top of the whole dinner planning and making process, I often run out of ideas. I fell like I make the same things over and over. I get in a dinner rut. So I thought I’d share four of my most yummy and simple recipes with you in case you were feeling like you’re in the dinner rut too.
- kale & vegetable soup – this is so simple and uses very few ingredients. Amazingly, my kids love it.
- chicken, broccoli, & pasta – so yummy!
- stuffed peppers – stolen from my father-in-law
- hot dogs & beans – you can never go wrong with hot dogs!
