I just signed up for a FREE online conference called The Mom Conference. It goes on from April 7th – 14th. And it just sounds too good to be true mostly because it’s FREE! I have included some information below – if it sounds like something you’d like to try, follow the links I’ve included to sign up. Hey, it’s free – why not??
They will have presentations each day and while I’m sure none of us will be just sitting home doing nothing for a whole week, they make the videos available for 24 hours so you can watch them after your day at work, cleaning, running errands – or the next morning with you cup of tea. After the 24 hours, you can only view that day’s presentations by purchasing them and watch at your own pace. But you are not obligated to buy anything.
Here are some highlights of my must-see’s from each day:
DAY 1
Tips for Packing School Lunch and Removing Processed Food {Lisa Leake from 100daysofrealfood.com} – I wish I could do this. I get kind of fearful for our kids since they’re inundated with junk food. But the idea of removing all processed foods from our diets seems so daunting and well, just HARD.
Start a Business with a Little Hustle and a Lot of Guts {Susan Peterson from freshly-picked.com} – Fourteen years ago I left a nice, stable, fun job at a small ad agency in Boston to be a freelance graphic designer. Looking back it definitely took hustle and guts. I’m anxious to hear what she has to say.
DAY 2
Get and Stay Organized: A Fail-proof System {Jenny Layton from thehappygal.com} – I need this. I try but it doesn’t come easily.
How to Conquer Picky Eaters, from a 9-Year Old’s Perspective {Nicholas Come from nicholasgarden.com} – So cute that this is from a 9-year old. I have some picky eaters and I always wish I knew why they were so picky. What makes them not like – or at least not even try – different foods???
DAY 3
Rock Your Skinny Jeans {Holly Rigsby from getfitandyummy.com} – Yes, please!
DAY 4
Decluttering & Design {Ashley Mills from thehandmadehome.net} – I follow her blog and she is amazing. I’m sure she has some great info.
DAY 5
Three different presentations on sugar detoxing! Maybe they’ll have a Diet Coke detoxing presentation ; )
DAY 6
17 Tips to Success: The Power of our Thoughts and… How it Rubs Off on Our Kids {Nancy Singleton from SelfSpeak.com} – Sounds like a great topic to apply to kids of all ages.
DAY 7
4 Steps to a Functional and Flattering Wardrobe {Alicia Richmond from chiconashoestring.com} – I love everything fashion and how it can define how we see ourselves and how others see us.
Self Care: Why Every Mom Needs It {Tiffany Peterson from thelighthouseprinciples.com} – As moms, we don’t do this enough!! And why not??
There’s so many more presentations on things like time and money management, marriage, raising kids, food preparation, and topics that I think can make us happier, healthier and more successful in all areas of our lives. Again, why not, it’s FREE!
I am an affiliate of this conference so if you want to sign up, click here.
I can’t guarantee you’ll love this conference. But I think as Moms and women we owe it to ourselves to keep the information flowing. I’d love your input. What do you think? Are you interested? Why or why not?
Have a great weekend!
I'd love to hear your comments!
