May has been such an exciting and hectic month over here on my little blog!
First, I was accepted to be part of the 2015 creative team and contributor over at Kenarry: Ideas for the Home. This is so exciting for me for several reasons. Kenarry: Ideas for the Home is an awesome blog that provides so many great ideas you’ll find useful for your home. Cooking, do-it-yourself projects, delicious recipes, home decor, technology, parenting, product recommendations – all valuable things you can implement at your home. I’ve been following her blog for several months and I just love her ideas, the way she writes and her content is very inspirational. In addition to being so talented, I’ve gotten to know Carrie {the lady behind the blog} via email, facebook and all the fun blog stuff – and she is such a delight! I know I’ll love working with her and will learn so much. I’m also honored to be part of a team of amazing creative women. They are all so talented and I can’t wait to work with them too!!
Be sure to check out Kenarry: Ideas for the Home here. My first post will be on June 8th – yeah!! I’ll be notifying you when my future posts will appear too.
In addition to this exciting news, some of my DIY projects have been featured elsewhere on the web this month. woo-hoo!!
• DIY tin can lanterns at Carolyns Homework, A Cup Full of Sass, Create, Link, Inspire, Silly Pearl, Inspire Me Wenesday, Posed Perfection, Addison Meadows Lane, Kitchen Fun with my 3 Sons

And, in the studio, I kept busy with some fun design projects:

• created a logo and T-shirt design for our school’s 5th grade celebration. Fun stuff!
• been busy making a variety of antique typography signs to put in a local shop. See my DIY tutorial here if you want to make one. I’m getting a great response to them and having fun making them!
And here’s a recap of my posts for this month:
• shared my favorite summer dresses
• gathered four yummy recipes from around the web
• fixed up or DIY fire pit – and loving it!
• designed a FREE art print – perfect for Memorial Day or July 4th

Thanks, Carrie!! It was a busy month as you know – but so exciting. I think I’ll keep this as a regular end-of-month post.
