A friend asked me the other day if I had any graduation gift ideas and I totally drew a blank. This would be fine except that my son is graduating from high school, all his friends, my nephew too – and my niece from college. I panicked. Why had I not given this any thought? Money is most likely the gift we’ll be giving them but I always feel like adding a small something that’s thoughtful and meaningful would be nice. Again, I drew a blank.
So I did a little searching and I found some gift items that I think grads would like. Most are not the big ticket items but instead a smaller, thoughtful, useful gift that I think most grads would like. Click on the links below each image to get more information and purchase.
Alex and Ani Graduation bracelet – on sale for $16.80, and if you sign up for their emails you get 15% off your order.
Yeti Rambler Colster – $24.99, there are bigger ticket items from Yeti (which the kids love) but this is a perfect little Yeti addition.
Engraved Wallet Cards – $25, I bought this one for my son but there are other options available, not just for parents. I love this one.
Monogrammed Key Chain – $7 – $25, these tassel key chains look very grad-like and are so sweet. I also like this one for boys.
Bose Bluetooth Speaker – $129, small enough to carry anywhere and great quality.
UGG Jillie Robe – $88, just for the girls but it’s so pretty and super comfy – perfect for dorm life.
Portable Charger – $60 this one from Mophie has the cables built in so the kids can’t lose them.
Board Games – $35, even my 18 year old plays board games with his friends and it’s really sweet to watch. The classic Monopoly is a favorite.
This necklace just says it all and it’s adorable, $55.
Gas Cards – always a great idea and perfect for college grads who will be driving to their new job (hopefully).
I hope these help with your graduation gift search. I know money is the gift that most kids really need at this time on their life but adding a nice thoughtful something is always appreciated too. Enjoy and wish me luck on surviving the final week before our son’s graduation. Tissues and wine are on my shopping list!
