Happy Friday and it’s a special one because it kicks off Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of summer. Aahhhh….
It’s also a nice time to show our American pride and hang our flags proudly. I also have a few other ideas as a way to display our American spirit.
How to Turn an Old Flag into New Art – this is a simple project that makes good use of an old and even tattered flag.
This Patriotic Wood Tray is a fun DIY solution to a centerpiece, display tray or cupcake holder. Or you can lean it on a shelf as a patriotic decorative decor.
Or make these easy Patriotic Wind Catchers to hang proudly.
And I’m offering this FREE flag art print that you can download and print yourself. Add a standard 8×10″ frame for a simple, patriotic decor. I painted this a few years ago and I love hanging it in our home. I often leave it up from memorial Day through July 4th, and as a way to commemorate September 11.
