I did a similar tic-tac-toe game idea for Valentine’s Day with 2-color pink tic-tac candies and they were a big hit. Click here to see that post. So once I saw these Bunny Burst green and purple tic-tacs I had to make an Easter/spring version!
This makes a fun addition to any Easter basket or you can give them as treats to any of your kid’s friends or your neighbors. Or just print one for yourself and have a few friendly games of tic-tac-toe before you eat the yummy candies.
For this Easter or spring version, I painted watercolor flowers and a sweet little bunny and then added some spring colors to the text. And you can get these tic-tac-toe game cards for FREE!
Visit my freebies page to print these fun game cards. To get my freebies, you must be a subscriber to my blog. If you’re not yet a subscriber to my blog, it’s easy to do, there’s no commitment and you get access to lots of free stuff. Once you download the file, print it on a heavier white card stock – or bring the file to any copy center like Staples of Kinkos and have them print it for you. Cut out the game board(s) and slip it into a standard ziploc sandwich bag. I added a strip of colorful washi tape to cover the zipper part of the bag so it looks a little prettier.
I found the 2-color tic-tac at CVS but I’ve also seen them at our local party supply store and at Staples.
Add a pack to the bag and you’ve got an instant Easter or spring treat.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and think spring!
