Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday for adults and kids too. But there’s so much pressure to do something creative and thoughtful to show your love. I can’t help you with what to do for your romantic other, but I have some ideas for the kids.
I’ve designed a few different Valentine’s cards for kids and you can download them for FREE. Each of them requires some basic coloring or decorating but that only makes them more special.
Click on the links below to get the pdf files and print as many as you need. Instructions are below but feel free to add whatever embellishments you’d like to make them your own. And have fun with it. The days of kids sending Valentine’s cards goes by quickly!
1. Valentine Bookmarks – color in the artwork, trim them out, punch a hole in the top and add a ribbon. I love this colorful baker’s twine.
2. Glow Stick Cards – Grab your highlighter markers and color in the hearts. Punch holes for the glow stick bracelets and insert them through. Kids will love them! Click here to purchase the glow stick bracelets.
4. Valentine’s tic-tac-toe – this is my favorite! Cut out the game cards and have your kids color them as they like. Click here to purchase the tic tac candies – they’re called Strawberry Fields and they are so yummy. Place the game cards and candy in a sandwich-sized ziploc bag and decorate with washi tape if you choose. They’re a fun and clever valentine’s treat. A teacher friend of mine used these as her valentine’s class project.
5. Valentine Pencil Flags – color as you’d like, cut them out and wrap them around the tops of fun pencils decorated with valentine’s hearts, candies and stars.
