Coming soon: 2017 watercolor calendar

This is my third year making a watercolor calendar and I’ve received a lot of inquiries about when the calendar for next year is coming out. So I’m happy to say that the 2017 calendar will be done and printed by the first week in November – yeah!! I had so much fun painting the new images for this calendar. I’m still fairly new with the watercolor technique but I just love this medium.

Here’s a look at some of last year’s designs:

The 2017 calendar will be similar to my previous ones – each will have twelve 5″ x 7″ cards, one for each month. I painted a new image for each card and included a quote that relates to that specific month.

And since each month has it’s own card, you can display these calendars in a variety of ways. Here are a few ideas:

• Each card fits in a standard 5″ x 7″ frame that you can put on your desk, kitchen area or bedside table. Or add a matte and go with an 8″ x 10″ frame that can be hung on the wall. You just replace the art as the months change.

• I created wood clip frames that I sell in my Etsy shop and the montly cards can be easily clipped onto these distressed wood backings. Click here to see those frames and I’m happy to take custom orders too.

• Use a magnet and stick the cards onto your fridge, or a pretty tack and add them to a cork board in a command center.

• I also love washi tape and since it won’t destroy paint or walls, this is always my go-to solution for changing up my artwork.
